Thank You Letter
Businessmen have many opportunities for writing Thank-you letter to express appreciation and good will. They include: 1.letters to new customers for a first order;
2.letters to established customers for a particularly large order, or for regular business; letters to customers who pay their accounts promptly; letters to persons who give advice, or perform a service.
Letters of this kind can be as brief and as simple as you like, but they must express your appreciation with warmth and sincerity and make the reader feel that you really mean what you say—and that you enjoy saying it. A letter of appreciation has a better welcome and creates a better impression if it is sent quickly rather than after a delay of several days.
In thank you letter, it is a mistake to include specific sales matter; to do so may create the feeling that your thanks are merely an excuse for getting business.
